Alex Spurlock

(she/her)

Alex Spurlock is a queer, disabled witch, priestess of Aphrodite, student teacher in the Reclaiming tradition, and general community priestex who currently lives on unceded Southern Pomo/Graton Rancheria lands in so called Santa Rosa, CA, USA. She has found a home in Reclaiming and is currently gaining experience across multiple roles. She also helps run the International Reclaiming Discord and has begun work on a Reclaiming lorekeeping podcast. She is involved in the Ableism-Impacted Reclaiming Alliance (AIRA), an affinity group that seeks to understand the ways our physically and mentally disabled, chronically ill, neurodivergent, and aging community members are excluded from Reclaiming spaces and how to establish more accessible options that integrate us with the wider community. Hearing the call of the Dark Forest, she is very excited to join the Ritual Arc Team this year and help craft the magick and mystery of camp.

Diana Love
(they/them)

Diana Love is a non-binary queer witch living on Turtle Island in Ho-Chunk land. This place holds space for bountiful water, creating lakes, rivers, and creeks as the glaciers retreated, leaving lavish landscapes where the wild can thrive. Diana has been a Reclaiming witch for over 25 years, with threads of magic weaving throughout, bringing them back to life, over and over again. Their magic tunes to the landscapes and beings that hold them, especially Spider and Crow. They are also in dedicated relationships with Freya and Hel. This land, this magic, and these relationships are crucial to finding their  way in such precarious times. Reminding them to let flow or build containers, to rage with fierceness or to be as gentle as tears running down cheeks, and to soften or hold as needed. Magic is our birthright, and Diana is excited to help us weave our fates with worlds reborn!

Sequoia
(they/them)

Sequoia Chenoah Roane is a queer, nonbinary, neurodivergent witch living on Siletz land in the Pacific Northwest of Turtle Island. They came into the Reclaiming tradition at 11 years old, and have been practicing ritual magic within its lineage ever since.

Also an artist, singer, and writer, Sequoia’s works commonly feature meditations on death, sex, queerness, gender identity, body, and (of course) magic – everything they make is a spell, and a object of devotion.

Their favorite color is green, their favorite animals are bats, and their favorite pen is currently a blue-ink clicky ballpoint from the Royal Moore Auto Center. Sequoia is a solar Gemini, and moves gracefully between states of reverence and mirth. This is reflected in their magic, artwork, and general behavior. You can follow them on Instagram at: @dripping.witch.child
